And it holds more meaning to me than just a visual mark—it tells a story that is deeply personal. At its core, it’s a play on the word “Miles,” which is my son’s name. He is the reason behind so much of who I am today, and naming my brand in a way that reflects him felt like the most natural and meaningful choice. Every time you see my logo, it’s a quiet nod to him and the journey that began when I became his mom.

The idea of a compass also speaks to direction—how we navigate life, love, and all the moments in between. Photography, to me, is about capturing where you are right now in your story, while honoring everything that brought you there. But even deeper than that, my compass represents my faith. Jesus Christ is my true north—the one I look to for guidance, purpose, and direction in my life. When things feel uncertain or overwhelming, He is what grounds me and leads me forward.
